In order to saved energy, our government decided that daylight savings time should come early this year. Fine with me!

I simply cannot believe it's that time already! And it sure doesn't feel like it with the cold weather outside... brr!

I agree. It is snowing here right now - feels more like January than March. This too shall pass...

PS - Thank you for all the sweet comments you leave on my blog. I'm so glad to have you!

I can't wait until those wonderful days when we have more sunlight. And, of course, those hazy summer nights, when Dad takes us out. First, if it is pretty hot out, we'll get an Italian ice or something cold, but, if there is a cool, summer wind blowing, we'll get Starbucks. Along with a pastry. Then, we drive. We don't know where, but we drive and drive and drive. We usually end up at Robert Moses, or once, we ended up on Dune Road in West Hampton Beach. I love breathing in the Long Island air on summer nights. Usually humid, but warm and wonderful. From the house you can smell the ocean and it is fabulous...Oh for the lazy, hazy days of summer....

Abbey, thanks for the wonderful paragraph you wrote about summertime! Wow! I felt like I was riding in the car, Starbucks in hand, wind blowing my hair, Dad singin' some song, the sun setting behind us, the air crisp with the ocean, aaaaaah.... let's go!
