A break in the routine...

Our family is looking forward to a brief vacation, beginning on July 2nd. We're heading north to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and possibly Vermont. We're planning to be somewhere near the water for the Fourth of July fireworks - maybe Boston? About four years ago, we went to Newport for our anniversary and missed out on several fun activities because of very bad weather. We ended up sitting around the fireplace at Panera Bread for a good portion of our time there (it was really nice - we weren't about to let the bad weather spoil our anniversary!) Hopefully we'll be able to experience the Cliff Walk this time! If you're having difficulty reading the information on any of the following photos, just click on the image and it will come up extra large so you can read it.

Looks beautiful, doesn't it? Can't wait to go there!

Mrs Engesetter,
I hope you get to go on the Cliff Walk! Sarah and I had the opportunity a couple of years ago while visiting my uncle who was stationed at the Newport naval base. It is absolutely lovely. I am glad you guys get to go away for a few days - you really deserve a break!
Love you,
Rebecca

Dear Rebecca,
You are just one of the sweetest girls I know to leave such a thoughtful comment on my blog! I will think of you while we are there.

Love you!
Mrs. E.

Hi Brittany!
I am looking forward to using my camera while visiting this lovely, seaside, historical place. I'll publish photos when we get back. Brittany, I have often wanted to visit New Mexico, but was told there's really nothing to do there. I don't believe it. What do you say?

I've heard that comment in reality there's a lot to do in New Mexico! Even in Albuquerque alone, there's Old Town Albuquerque, which is really nice and fun to look around. Albuquerque also has the Ballon Festival every fall, which is awesome. I could go on and on about some of the fun things to do in New Mexico. I don't want to include a HUGE post in your comments section, so perhaps I will publish a post on my blog about it. Check my blog later today for it. :)
