I wish, somehow, that these photos could do justice to the sheer, natural beauty of this place... but they absolutely cannot.Randy and me in Franconia Notch, MA at the famous Flume.
If only pictures had sound, for only then could you realize the calming effect of rushing, gushing water spilling itself over a mountain of rock...

This is called a glacial boulder. Boy, was it ever heavy!
