In our yard this glorious season

Autumn is my absolute favorite season of the year - and it's only just begun! Here are a few signs of its appearing right in our own yard...

Mums - I adore them! They add such lovely shades of color to an otherwise waning landscape.

Mushrooms are always prolific in our yard this time of year. I don't know why.

Pretty red berries that grow on our fence. The birds love these and eat them well into December. When the berries are all gone, Randy fills the bird feeder for the cardinals, nuthatches, house wrens, and the gazillion other birds that live in our yard!

Our October Glory maple tree might actually be glorious this year!

Grape ivy. I hate this stuff, but it sure looks pretty in the fall!

Randy's Montauk daisies. Beautiful.

Signs of our poor Guinea hen. I hope he makes it through the winter without his friend.

Pumpkin on the porch.
These mums came back from last year! Love the color.

Abbey likes these white ones the best.

All your pictures look like they are straight out of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine! Just beautiful.
