...the newest creature who takes shelter in our yard - a turkey. Can you believe this? Yesterday, when I pulled into the driveway, this turkey and guinea hen were battling for turf in our front yard! Happy to have my camera handy, I managed this photo. Feathers were flying when the turkey finally trotted off and found refuge in the honeysuckle that covers our fence. I wonder if she has eggs??? Herod, our resident fox, is surely hoping she does...
