This magnificent spider web was woven across our front yard early this morning. From our October Glory maple tree to the electric pole, it measured approximately 4'x4'. I dashed outside to take a photo and when I returned to view it from our picture window, a flock of blackbirds had destroyed it. Gratefully, the responsible spider was nowhere to be seen.

That is so neat...so glad the spider wasn't there! It must have been working really hard last night to make such a HUGE web!!!

That is one monsterous web! WOW! I kind of laughed when you said a flock of black birds came on by. If any bird were going to vandalize it would be them.
Thats a good picture of it.
