I finally know why there's kale! Last night Abbey surprised me after work by having dinner ready when I walked in the door - wonderful daughter that she is! She used this recipe found on Tadd's blog. I have to admit, when you review the ingredients it doesn't really seem as though this recipe would be worthy of a blog post. But here I am - writing a post about this amazing soup! It's loaded with flavor and is quite hardy. We used turkey sausage instead of pork and cut out the macaroni. Take Tadd's advice and add extra garlic. Your family will be asking for it again!

Was it a keeper? Nancy likes the Zuppa Toscan from Oilive Garden which is very similar. I added some heavy cream to the recipe and she says it is exactly the same.

Funny you should say that - our family had the same thoughts, verbatim about the Olive Garden. I even suggested the cream for next time. Got any other good recipes?!
