You can learn a lot about husbands and wives simply by the way they handle each others company at restaurants. I've observed too many couples who, quite obviously, have nothing to say to each other while dining out. They read the menu, stare off into space, sip on soda, or gaze into their i-phones instead of each others eyes. They eat in silence - a good indication of what it must be like at home. How sad! Our family found this couple quite refreshing while eating at the Cheesecake Factory tonight. The husband was kind to the wife he obviously adored, offering her a taste of nearly everything on his plate. She was of the same gentle nature, responding favorably to his pleasant conversation and companionship. I made a mental note that this was the way life should be for older couples, certainly it's the way God intended for people to grow old together. They were a beautiful couple and we enjoyed sitting next to them for dinner. Here, the husband's humor shines as he and his wife share a decadent dessert in celebration of the holidays - looks like happiness to me!

Thanks for reading!

Cute pictures. I love the one of you and Abby. It looks like Abby has her hair done in a super far out fashion. It is obviously the chair behind them. But still looks super cute.:)
