Just so-so.

 Randy and I made THESE last night for dinner! I made the tomato topping from scratch and used fresh basil, which, according to the recipe, was optional. Although they were very good, I would have to describe Julia Child's Eggplant pizzas as rather dietetic. The pizzas were loaded with flavor, but lacked texture. The eggplant did not serve well as a pizza crust and the whole cheese topping came off when biting or cutting into it.  If we make these again, we'll use peeled, breaded, and fried eggplant and perhaps a little less cheese. ☺
