Last night I spent about 4 hours getting to know my little brother Tadd. I know, I know - he's not so little, but he is younger than me! Due to circumstances beyond our control, Tadd and I hadn't seen each other for nearly 39 years. Can you imagine how absolutely thrilled I was to see him? A tall Texan with cowboy boots and blue jeans, he was a real gentleman. Conversation was easy and time flew faster than a New York minute! It was hard to say goodbye - but we have plans to meet again in the future! Maybe in Houston? I think I'd like that...

Thanks for reading!

Thanks everyone! Okay, dear Gina, master of detail - here goes: Tadd met me at the Port Jefferson ferry after a business meeting in Boston. He called me from the ferry and said, "I'm almost there, my GPS is telling me to make a right." His humor made me love him at once! He lives in Texas with his wife and two kiddos. As soon as I've got his permission, I'll put a link up to his blog.

How neat that you got to see him again. I thought my not getting to see my brother in 17 years was a long time...but you have me beat. Thank the Lord your brother is still alive for you to be able to see him. I missed my chance. Cherish it and don't let any more opportunities pass by....we never know what might happen on the morrow.
