She was leery of me from the start and I thought it nearly impossible to get a smile from Rizpah's little sister. I tried everything I could possibly think of to draw this darling little girl out of her shell - books, games, crafts - EVERYTHING! But nothing seemed to work. She only stared at me and turned away when I returned her attention with a smile. Then Madison decided she wanted to do something special for our little Bengali girls and sent me to Sunday School with a blonde, muppet-style puppet. And the little sister came ALIVE! Here she is, teasing me with our puppet and completely enjoying herself...
